Upholstery fabrics with greater thread counts contain more threads per square inch, which means they will last longer and wear better. Our beautiful range of fabrics, here at Desser, not only have a high thread count, but they also are available in different patterns, colours, and grades.

What do the grades in upholstery fabric mean? 

Most furniture manufacturers who upholster their own furniture will have their own classification of fabric grades with grade A being the least expensive and ranging up to a more expensive F grade. Our fabric grades vary from B to D, depending on your level of need and expectancy from the fabric. 

New B Grade Fabrics – Atlantic, Biscuit, Jubilee Punch, Jubilee Grey, Jubilee Sage, Latte 

New C Grade Fabrics – Artisan Floral, Artisan Sketch, Artisan Plain, Delamere, Fyllo, Heather, Lily

What is Aquaclean fabric?

This short video explains the wonderful technology behind this revolutionary fabric, designed to make the cleaning process a whole lot quicker and everyone living a whole lot easier! 

How to clean Aquaclean fabric? 

You can easily clean Aquaclean fabrics in three simple steps! 

Step 1: Remove any excess residue on the upholstery 

Step 2: Apply water over the stain, either directly or using a damp cloth. Wait a few seconds. 

Step 3: Press down over the stain with a damp cloth and rub gently over the fabric in circular movements. If the stain does not come off completely, repeat the process as required.
